The Forecast is Dry and Sunny:
One of the great myths about Seattle's weather is that it's always raining. That myth is fed further by the stereotype of Seattleites as fleece-wearing, grunge-loving, Starbucks addicts. The truth behind the myth, however, is that Seattle has some of the most envied summertime weather in the country - and certainly some of the best weather for a softball tournament.
Daytime temperatures in the month of August are reliably stable in the mid-70's with clear skies and low humidity. Seattle's idea of a hot summer day is 80 degrees. For the summer months, there's no place better to spend a week than the Great Northwest.
In fact, compared to the host cities from 1998-2007, Seattle's average monthly rainfall for the month of August is well below the average of 2.5 inches for the prior ten host cities.
